DIY Workshop: Make a singed satchel
Singed Satchel Class - Saturday, April 11 12 - 2pm
You will start with a zippered canvas bag that participants will customize with a scorched design. They’ll choose from a variety of stencils, apply a scorch gel over the design, and then use a heat press to burn the image permanently into the fabric.

Bingo begins at 5:30 PM and includes 5 free rounds (stay as little or as long as you want), with soda-themed prizes awarded each round. Grab a drink, find a seat, and enjoy a relaxed evening filled with laughs, friendly competition, and great company.

Usually, guests in the taproom can try a couple sodas on tap, Sample Frenzy night is exactly the opposite! We open every can so you can enjoy unlimited samples from our full lineup of craft sodas. With over 44 flavors available, it’s the perfect opportunity to explore new favorites and discover unique soda flavors.
Our goal is simple: taste before you buy. After sampling, you can build your own 6 pack or mix-and-match soda case to take home.
If you love trying new drinks, discovering flavors, and stocking up on your favorites, Sample Frenzy is the night to visit the taproom.

Community Drive
Community Drive Thursday, April 2 - Friday, April 17
Join Northern Soda Company in supporting students and families from Highland Elementary School in Columbia Heights through our Food & Rent Assistance Drive. From April 1–17, we’re collecting essential food, household, and hygiene items to help meet immediate needs in our local community. Guests can also contribute to rent assistance through the QR code. Donations can be dropped off at our New Brighton taproom, making it easy to give back while you stop in and enjoy a soda. Together, we can make a meaningful impact and support our neighbors during a time of need.
DIY Moss and Grain Masterpiece!!
Join us for a relaxing, hands-on workshop and create your own little green masterpiece! Customize and assemble our charming 13-inch square moss & grain garden. Each ticket includes your choice of a canned soda or a frosty mug to sip while you craft.
Build a Moss Garden in a Jar!!
Create your own tiny moss garden at Northern Soda Company! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll build a self-sustaining 2-pint moss ecosystem using layered substrates, farm-grown moss, and live springtails. Design your miniature landscape with stones and figurines—including a friendly gnome—and take it home to enjoy on a desk, windowsill, or coffee table. All materials, instruction, and tax are included. Decorative items are provided, or bring your own non-organic décor (no wood or organic materials). Space is limited—$65 per person.

St. Patrick’s Day Weekend Party at Northern Soda
Looking for a family-friendly St. Patrick’s Day event? Join us at Northern Soda for a St. Patrick’s Day weekend celebration in the taproom Friday, March 20 through Sunday, March 22.
Enjoy limited-time St. Patrick’s Day themed sodas on tap, a special dirty soda and mocktail, and games like Can Jam - a favorite among our taproom guests.
We’ll also be running a Mix & Match soda case special — build your own 24-can case for $30 (regularly $34) so you can take your favorite flavors home.
Bring friends, wear some green, and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day weekend with craft soda, games, and festive drinks at Northern Soda.

2026 Northern Soda Sweet 16!!!!
3rd Annual Sweet 16 Soda March Madness
Our Sweet 16 Soda March Madness returns on March 7 with 16 brand-new small-batch flavors that have never been canned before. Fill out your bracket and vote for which flavors should advance while tasting a few of them on tap in the taproom throughout the month.
March 7: Bracket released and voting begins. March 14: Final Four flavors announced!March 21: Final Four packs available for pickup (voting continues)March 28: Champion flavor revealed
The Final Four flavors will all be canned and available for purchase, and the winning flavor will join the Northern Soda lineup!
